Craving for Lambuk porridge?
Ingredients (10 people dining)
- Dr Sweet 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 200gram meat (beef small)
- Dried shrimp 1/2 cup (pounded @ blend crude)
- Carrots are a handful of salty (dicing thin)
- 3 cloves Onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (sliced)
- 2cm ginger (sliced)
- 3 sisters (cinnamon, star anise and cardamom)
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- Few Halba
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup chickpeas @ peanuts
- 2 cups rice pot
1)Put Dr. Sweet Extra Virgin Olive Oil, sauté onion, garlic and ginger until fragrant. After that put in the black pepper, fenugreek and 3 sisters (cinnamon, star anise and cardamom)
2) When it is a little crispy saute the dry shrimp and braised meat. If it is too dry, add in some water then continue suting .Stir it for a while then put in the salted radish. Don't worry when thr salted radish is cooked it will not be salty. The best part is you will feel chewy.
3) When all's well and done, you can fill the pot with water and rice .the water should be half of the rices' measurement
4) When the porridge is almost cooked, put in the coconut milk and salt. Leave it for 5 minutes, then you may turn off heat.
